I started playing around with
some quartzite cobbles I picked up in a creek bed yesterday. I knocked a random
flake off of one with a hammerstone and used it to make this arrow point, a
Late Woodland-style triangle. This particular material pressure flakes a little
easier than the quartzite I’ve used before, and it’s pretty sharp.
