I don't have any experience with stone tools. I've seen them and all, but never had a chance to use any. So I come here to ask for enlightenment. How are stone tools used and how are the drawbacks of stone vs steel overcome? Stone knives usually look like they have rough edges, like serrations. How would one be used to make a straight slice? How would a saw blade be made, or are there no stone saws? How are stone knives held? The handles always look to be attached weaker than a full tank steel knife. Stone knives usually have two blades; what if you want to push on the spine?
