I have these accidental Robin hoods now and then, when using self nocks I usually lose the whole dammed arrow. I would rather just pick a nice new nock from my pocket and glue it on.
Sometimes this happens in the middle of the target but maybe more often I somehow do two exactly equal bad shots.
Anyway, the solution was simple. I noticed by chance that the tips of my flat drill blades have exactly the same taper than the pl****c-nocks.
The work was surprisingly easy and fast.
They would look more "primi" if some more thread is tied on the joint for decoration but there is something stupid in that idea.
Im a bit worried if the antler is too strong stuff, and it wont broke. Then the purpose turns upside down.
