Sept 24 & 25 - Come celebrate the beginning of this year's Hunter's Moon and share/learn some of the sacred arts and crafts of the hunter. Any traditional/primitive skill or craft that compliments the season is welcome and appreciated. We will certainly be doing some braintanning and primitive archery shooting.
Some possible topics include bow and arrow construction, instinctive shooting, tracking, camouflage, skinning and butchering, early fall edibles, ... Even if you are not currently working on a project to share, come and get inspired for the next gathering. This is the first of many "moon / season" gatherings we hope to host at an old farm located just south of Syracuse New York. This is a free gathering .
Come for the day or plan on camping for the weekend. A wild food enhanced meal will be shared Saturday evening - so bring something to share if you'd like.
