The trunk and bark surely looks like yellow Guava, the leaves look a bit different but not much just a bit thinner
.......the more I look at it, the more I wanna say definatly yellow Guava

I'm really finding it difficult to get a nice long branch that isn't twisted, every time I find a good pice it, has been bored out by a beetle grub.
I've made, 2 sort bows and it has great potential. |

Though, one thing, guava leaves dont seem to alternate, this tree does. Unless maybe sub species.... the leaves are shaped same with similar vein pattern. Sorry, I thought guava too, maybe in same family as guava, which is also same as myrtles~ Anyways, I can just say it will be good bow wood anyways. I'll see if I can find in my book. |

I was just hunting, and took a look at the yellow Guava leaves, definatly not the same, like Alex says they don't alternate,...be a different strain
