I loved the video Boomer. I want to see how you accomplish your debark from the chair. Look forward to the next installment. Is it on youtube already? Where
are you located by the way. Danny

Great video, thanks for sharing. Splitting looks easy with you. I splitted an osage log only once (osage is very scarce in Europe), and it didn't turn very
well (but it's true I have two left hands sometimes
Smart and nice assistant you got there too

As always a great job, I split hard maple and yellow birch for my bows I can just imagine how hard osage is, one day I will find a piece of osage I can afford.
Can't wait to see the next instalment.

Very cool to see your daughter helping. I think she needs a big hug.
I hate to bring it up but the hammer beating the drywall ax scares me. 2 tempered hammer heads striking against each other will cause small pieces to break off. I remember as a child my dad hitting 2 hammers together and a small piece of metal flew off and stuck in his nose far enough you couldn't see it. He would have been blind if the piece had of been just 1/2" higher. Don't mean to act like a know it all I am just worried about flying metal. Jim |

Thanks Boomer I was wondering if there was an different way to shape the belly other than a band saw or draw knife.
