Yes it is here once again. There have been many people awaiting this start, and I thought at the end of October would be the best time to start it. If you are
interested whatsoever say I and we'll get you in. You dont have to have any experience in leather work besides knowing how to sew. So is anyone interested?

What's the rules? Is there a minimum size, or style that ought to be adhered to? I'd hate to be on a lopsided trade, with a goregous possible bag vs. a
little belt pouch... how do you keep it fair?

Let me just add, I'm not afraid of getting taken here, I'm afraid that my work won't measure up to what I might receive. My last post came across
as selfish, I think, and that's not at all how I meant it.

I'd like to join but I would also opt for a deadline that is not too soon as I'm very busy at the moment.
What about shipping in mid-December, in time for Christmas? |

here are the rules, honestly at this moment im making them up from the past experiences with the last two bith/pith's that we have had on this forum.
Concerning the SIZE of the bags, the requirements are set into place of a bag size possibly such as this:
OR a pouch size such as this: or anywhere in between just be the judge really.
These are two examples which just popped up first from the other topics, everyone else had a wonderful bag also. What I'd like to point out for the new comers and especially primalfires who asked the question What's the rules? Is there a minimum size, or style that ought to be adhered to? I'd hate to be on a lopsided trade, with a goregous possible bag vs. a little belt pouch... how do you keep it fair? There is really no size limit besides something lacking size, such as a penny pouch, or something excessive in size such as a backpack ( even though that would be cool =) ). What i would encourage though is if you opt to go with a smaller sized pouch or bag w/e you choose, put something into it such as Quillsnikos (sp?) pouch. i.e Quillwork , Beading, Fringe, Certain button etc, something unique. This is only an option but would be encouraged because usually the carrying objects passed around here have a lot of flare and creativity. Trust me though primalfires, what you create if your happy with it will make your reciever happy, i think i speak for everyone here saying that. #2 Deadline will be December teens 10-20th. you can ALWAYS send your pouch / bag before that, if you get it done next week please dont be afraid to send it. I think i answered everything? Thanks everyone, SW P.S deadline to join will be November 1st and 2nd TO JOIN .

yea!! cool!
i like the idea of targeting items being received on the winter solstice? part of the fun is just the energy involved....i've never done this before but i've loved watching what others have sent...its been really special seeing what a person puts into their skins.....we all just do what we can and its all good.... i've not been really creative with buckskin in a long time.....i'm so excited!! |

Well I've been in every other one so far so I really must be in this one too. I'm truly looking forward to it.
Just to add to what SW said earlier, for those who may be reluctant to have a go, or who may not feel confident in their craft abilities - remember, this is NOT a competition to see who can make the best. It's an opportunity to pass on a personal gift to someone who will appreciate it. So don't worry about how good it has to be - just do your best. Don't worry about how big it has to be - size isn't everything. Don't worry if you can't bead or quill - neither can I, sometimes plain looks better. But above all else, have a go. SleepingWolf, when it comes time to pull the names from the hat, could you get a small child to do it please? And that child will get a nice little bag from me as a thank you present. Eric

123Sharo wrote: It shouldn't be a problem Iliana, the only consideration might be that of time. Whoever you are sending to, and whoever is sending to you should maybe post theirs a week or so earlier to make sure it arrives in good time. (By the way, I have a quiver here for Kosio and a bracer for you but I lost his address. PM me your address and I'll post them to you. Kosio probably thinks I've forgotten - I've just been really busy.) We will know our partners when SleepingWolf draws the names from a hat. He'll then put up a post of who we're sending to and then it's up to us to exchange addresses by private message or email. Eric

Alright everyone looks like we have a good batch of people joining, coyo and eric hey again =D I will do that eric, ill get my cousins to do so, im sure
they will go nuts about it! And in addition i didn't mean to imply anything such as a requirements, what i meant was to just do your best and incorperate
other aspects if you wish to, if they appeal to someone. That's all sorry for the mix up!
