Hi all, Got the bow bug early this year and have built seven bows! 3 recurves (from blanks..I know thats cheating) 1 Osage bow from stave (my favorite)..three

The post says "Newbie Bows" but i don't get that effect when i'm lookin at these!!!!!! i love the look of the 2 bows in next to the last pic,
i was looking for a bow plan to make one that looked about like that, it would be much appreciated if you could help me out there.
 But if not it's ok

JK man, I started making bows in june..started studying and lurking about the web sites in feb.. march.. read as much as I could find..also hung around a local
bowyers shop for awhile.. study traditional bowyers bible ...they both started out as "pyrimid style bows" but I usually just wing it..I can tell you
specs I've used..I usually start at 65-64 inch length..1 1/2 -1 ,1 3/4 width at handle..I glue a handle piece on belly of bow board..8-9 " (I cut 45
degrees..each end) I'll taper from end of handles to tips 1 1/2" to 1/2" ..and again taper sides from end of handle 1" to 1/2"..and
theres my blank.. you can learn about layout in TBB..and you must check out George Tsoukalas's (Jawge) website.. he will be able to help you as he has
helped me... good luck and you never know till you try...
