I think I managed to infect them with our passion , when we visited in May. My nephew shot the bow I gave him so well, I think he is a very prommising young archer ! Actually all their family were very curious about bowyery and if there is a club there, or someone who may consult them in the beginnig and help them some, it would be great. Thank you in advance! Posts: 177 Jul 11 08 2:48 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I live near Seattle. Bad news is that I dont know of any clubs per say in the area that do just archery. But there is Camlann (www.camlann.org). They have a shoot together every Sunday at 10:30 am. Get in touch with Scott and he can set you up. Bad news is that when the reenactment is going on you have to be in costume and use an english longbow. Bummer I know! Usually I just set up some hay bales on my property and shoot there. We tend more to events here in the states and just shoot on our own property or a friends. David T

Posts: 12961 Jul 11 08 8:54 PM Administrator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I found about six trad clubs in Oregon, and two in British Columbia in the recent issue of Traditional Bowhunter Magazine, under the regular feature called "Traditional Clubs" (pages 63-64 of the Jun/July2008 issue. Here are the two I saw in Washington: Traditional Bowhunters of Washington- Dale Sharp, 19727 143rd Pl. SE, Renton, WA, 98058-9438, (253)630-6660 dlshsarp@qwest.net Wash-Ida Traditional Bowmen- Jack Dolan, 25902 W. Hallet Rd., Medical Lake, WA, 99022, (509)299-5419 The one in Renton is about 15 miles from Seattle. The other is much farther away (maybe some in BC or even Oregon will be nearly as close or closer). These aren't Primitive clubs... But the trad shooters will be good company for your relatives. Surely someone there will be into primitive archery. The St. Charles family used to live in Seattle, with their primitive archery museum. The also sold primitive bows there.
