That last pic looks like a hot spring. Is there a pool for dipping, or is it too hot (or to stinky)?
I know of a place with a "painted volcano" hot spring in Nevada, but the water is HOT. There is a dipping pool, but it's best used on cold days, which are rare in the desert. Oh, and is that spring "the" Pagosa Springs? Dan |

Those aint no Scrub Turkeys, just young males (Jakes). There are lots of hot springs in Pagosa. That one is in downtown and you can soak your hands in the pool
for a soothing effect. I would say about 115 deg. or so. My buddy has 2 on the ranch property. One is way hotter than the other and I can only get my feet in
it.
