Devilfishship Pretty stone! Thanks for sharing the photos. I want to try my hand grinding a celt or axe head if I can make the time. I like the handle. It has a rugged look.

LOL Thanks. I am in Florida so when it comes to plants, They either shade ya, feed ya, or poke ya..!! In this case I trained a poking plant to stand still for a photo. Thanks again for the good info.

I am loving those copper axe heads guys.  I have some copper slabs you all have given me some ideas for.  I wanted to post my first stone whacker.  My wife named it the noggin knocker so I figure I better get rid of it quick.

Thanks Steve. I'll give it a whirl. This is some of the most grainy stuff I have knapped from (flint ridge). Its pretty stuff, but not what you usually see. I'll post pics when its done and hafted.
