Finally found time to gather materials for salad, cooked vegetables and a tea:
Chickweed, knife for a scale comparison against these tiny beautifully simple greens and flowers -
Curly Dock -
Field Garlic -

A colony of Spring Beauties...
...and a rare sight of a clump rising from a visible corm (the norm is for them to be buried 3 or so inches under the flowers) -
Additional budding growths may be seen as pinkish 'warts' on the grey mass immediately below the plant.
And Oyster mushrooms -
Ground Ivy -
An interesting 'extra' to this was a distinctively brown version of our local Grey Squirrel. I saw a pair but one was slower to disappear into the wooded canopy -
