I cut a shoot, did some minor reducing of the tips in the field, force dried it (either in the sun, or inside my car) for a month,........a bow of this kind will have all the bending right where your hand is, so I wrapped 4" first with cotton cloth soaked in glue, than wrapped with cotton tread soaked in glue, I than overlapped 2 Guava arrow shafts for the lenght of the handle, than butted 2 more for continuation, all wrapped in cotton tread and glue, than one final Hemp wrap of the handle.
this baby never has being bent yet, I wanted to take pictures before I did that to see how much it will change.
I know that with the outher limbs/tips that big it will never be a super efficient bow, but I'm really curious to see what happens,...hoping to have something in the mid 50's at least.
I'm letting the glue cure good before getting a string on it, I'll probably do it saturday morning,...curiosity is killing me
