I knocked out this piece at the mini knap-in at Moundville Alabama this weekend....tough coastal plains with LOTS of inclusions....

knap123, I'm not sure where Justin got the Tuscaloosa chert from, I'm thining just north of Tuscaloosa. It dosen't come in very big pieces, hard to
make a big point from it.
The clovis was tough for me. The CP was tough to work, but the flutes worked perfectly. Hand fluted, direct percussion. Just knew I was gonna break it on the second flute. troy |

naw, jammed a Q-tip in his ear! Prolly won't do that again.
