This is the first thing I've had time to knap in awhile. Tallahatta quartzite, about 4 1/2", wood and antler percussion; antler and copper pressure.
From a chunk of rock that N2everything gave me a while back. Love that Tallahatta.

I've seen people work it with copper. I like wood for the tough stuff myself, I find that I can get a lot longer and cleaner flakes without as many steps
and hinges. That wood grabs the platform and starts a slow flake initiation. I can't do much with copper on anything really, I just never could get the
feel of it.
