The feathers are what I was referring to. Here in the US, that would be big bucks. Great looking arrows. Wished we could use feathers like that, but it is what
it is.

you can't use them even if you find a death eagle? maybe someone hit him with the car or something. it's true that you can't prove that but... i
don't know.

lol tribunmarcus, they are permisive beacause officials are not interested, they have more big problems that can't deal with. i wander if they see that
kind of feather, know from what those are. the shafts are from the supermarket, flowers department.

I have never heard of it being illegal to own anything from any animal that either died of natural causes or one that you simply find on the road or in the
woods. As long as you dont try to turn a profit. In some parts of the US (coastal areas) you cant go fishing for shark, they're endangered and all that,
but if you go fishing and you find no other alternative than its death(to save the lives of yourself or someone else) then to not utilize it is wasteful and it
will have died in vain. It happened to us in the early 90's.My family went to Panama city to do some deep sea fishing, while we were out my uncle saw
something to the side of the boat, we all went out to go see and my aunt Diane(his wife) went over but was still holding on. His thoughts were on prevention
and got the spear gun. Long story short, he killed it, my aunt Diane was never injured, we ended up eating the shark, and I still have his jaws and every tooth
that has fallen out since. I have used a few as tools, they work quite well.Which reminds me, I need to see if I can find it in all of the junk I own.lol

Birds are a bit of a complicated side of the law. It is illegal to posses any feather of any non-game bird/commercial bird. A lot of it has to do with the
migratory bird act and a few others that are in effect throughout the Americas. I know for a fact that you must have a permit for most taxidermy and feather
collections (with the exception of game and commercial birds) in the US that certifies the birds were not killed to obtain the feathers and taxidermy.
