I've seen a game played where two people stand on wooden blocks or half a small log and there is a rope between them. They start by holding the knot at the end of the rope and then pull and release the rope until one of them falls of their wooden base. Does anyone know what it is called and where it is from?

I love that game..."hunker box" as I've heard it called. My wife and I played it at our wedding years ago!

My dad tells me when he was a kid he spent alot of time pushing a metal hoop around with a stick. It was similar to a barrel hoop, he loved it.

We used to use a metal hoop and take a stick to roll it with but also we used to play kick the can . also other games like see who could push the fastest in a
wagon..yes there were a few injuries in that one but all fun.. lol.. Oz
