The white one is novaculite and the other is burlington, maybe keokuk I think.

Still working on mastering my thinning... Kinda hard to find time lately, but hopefully I can get back to practicing in a few days.
As for what kind of rock that is, I am not 100% sure either. The rocks I made these out of were in a bucket of mixed flakes that I was given. I do think you named them correct. Lately, I have been considering trying my hand at some obsidian. I have some small pieces that would be good to practice on. James |
