Is Steve finish the tests?
I start to make one too, but much more simple. Like to work on it, and yes there is a lot of work to make this simple one either. Especially fixing the tips to
the right line. Thinking about to put a thin bamboo belly on and sinewing the back. What is your oppinion should it work well?

Here is some pics after started to work out the RD form.

Richard
You can get the same problem with deflex reflex bow. I had to give up on a Bamboo backed Bubinga R/D bow a few years ago. String tension was so high it just
wouldn't stop pulling the limbs sideways

Redhawk
Higher brace height is bad for performance, I try to avoid that if possible

The good thing about bows that have a high degree of deflex in the handle is that very little limb movement is required to get them to brace. The downside is
that they have...

Marc, even I have quit to make laminated bows for a time, this bow turns me on. It remimds me to the Scythian designs(without the deflexed handle section). I
really know the twisting limbs problem with these long recurves you mention, greater brace- height is a solution.

I´m looking forward to Steves chronos.

I noticed that I had repeated one picture, I fixed that with the one that was supposed to be there.

That bow has good cast Bruno and I think it may have more potential but very hard to tiller. That particular bow only has about 1" of reflex and that
cuts down on string tension which affects performance. String tension on bows that are heavily deflexed at the handle and have a lot of reflex gets so high
that the limbs want to twist sideways unless tip...
