			<description><![CDATA[ would this type of material be  good for a teepee cover? i do a lot of disaster relief volunteering and every place i go we have recycled billboards to use for
temporary roofing and tarps. it&#39;s tough stuff and can handle years of neglect and abuse. i know of a few houses that have had it on the roof for over 5
years. it should last a very long time if taken care of. at 6-12 cents per square foot and large enough sizes that you could just trace and cut out, making for

			<description><![CDATA[ i&#39;ve been kicking around the idea of acquiring a teepee and the one thing that always comes up with most users is the hassle of transporting the poles.
after poking around a i&#39;ve found a few websites with examples of take apart poles.

i can understand if someone is using solid wood poles and wanting to keep things paleo since using pipe for connectors isn&#39;t authentic. but with bamboo
poles it would be quite easy to lash the cut ends and install a hardwood peg.

			<description><![CDATA[ My great grandmother was Sami from Norway and I was inspired by some ones post about Sami lavvus/tee pee type shelter so I made this one from Home wrap Tyvek
and 9 each, 10 ft long bamboo poles. A true Sami lavvu is usually just a bit wider than it is tall, which makes them excellent in high winds and has a tall
door that you can walk right through with out stooping. It&#39;s been raining hard for a week now and Ive got the lavvu set up in the yard. With a garbage bag

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>Today I was out in the forest and came across one heck of a ready made shelter. It&#39;s a rock that has split, then had a large tree grow in the crack,
enlarging it. Because of the way it split then shifted, there is a 4 ft wide x 5ft tall by 8 ft deep &quot;cave&quot; underneath it. It&#39;s on a hill and has
