			<description><![CDATA[ . Hey all, Blacktail and I have a few questions. We were out and about in the woods today, here in Central Oregon, and came across a few different plants we
were not sure what they were or if they could be used as anything?

 The first was a bush that was not full, it was about knee to waste high, had white berries. The pictures shows the leaves, the bark, and the general look. It
was growing near a creek (in areas where willow grows)

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>I cannot for the life of me figure out what lettuce (or even if it is a lettuce and not a sow thistle) grows around where I am right now. I thought it was
wild lettuce which I would welcome because that&#39;s actually what I&#39;m looking for, but the USDA Plants database says that there are only a few states
that have this plant and they are nowhere New York. This leads me to believe that the plant can&#39;t be a wild lettuce (Lactuca virosa) then. What DOESN&#39;T

			<description><![CDATA[ Although not really a foraging food I thought it would be appropriate to mention pumpkin seeds since tomorrow is Halloween. After you seed the pumpkin take the
seeds. Wash them. Spread them out on a cookie sheet. Lightly sprinkle with seasoning. Place in oven and bake. Yum!!! I had a few handfuls last night.

			<title><![CDATA[ Rose Hip ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ We have had a couple good freezes now so I decided to go get some rose hip that I found a month or so ago. Anyway what do I do with them now? How do I make tea
with them. Do I mash them up and steep for 20 minutes, leave them whole and how many per cup? I like strong flavors so typically I ad more than the norm.

Do I let them dry out 1st? Please help me out, I&#39;d appreciate it. Thanks.
